Adrian K. Fung (S'60-SM'70-F'85) received the B.S. degree from Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, China, in 1958, the M.S. degree from Brown University, Providence, RI, in 1961, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, in 1965, all in electrical engineering.

From 1963 to 1965, he was a Research Engineer with the Center for Research, Inc., University of Kansas, Lawrence. From 1965 to 1984, he was on the faculty of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Kansas. Since 1984, he has been with the University of Texas at Arlington where he is now a Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department. His research interests have been in the areas of wave scattering and emission from irregular surfaces and random media, and radar image simulation and interpretation. He is a coauthor of the book Microwave Remote Sensing (Addison-Wesley, vol. 1, 1981, vol. 2, 1982).

Dr. Fung is a member of Sigma Xi and U.S. Commission F of the International Scientific Radio Union.
