Goran Hudec was born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, on April 12, 1950. He received the dipl.ing. of computer sciences (1973) and M.Sc. in electronic engineering (1978) degrees from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Zagreb.Since 1975 he has been with the Brodarski Institute, Zagreb. His current research interests are in underwater acoustics, modeling and coding for data transmission in underwater communication channel, and image processing for remote sensing applications.
Mr. Hudec is a member of the Council for Remote Sensing at the Yugoslav Academy of Science and Arts.
