L. Neil Frazer received the B.A.Sc. degree in engineering physics from the University of British Columbia in 1970 and the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, in 1978.
In 1972-1973, he was employed by Gulf Oil Canada in seismic data processing. Currently, he is Professor of Geophysics at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, working on signal processing problems related to underwater sound and seismic exploration.
