Molly Scheffe (M'78) received the B.A. degree in mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, and is working towards the Ph.D. degree in mathematics at Brandeis University, Waltham, MA.She worked on acoustic surveillance systems, using digital signal processing and analysis of the wave equation, at Lincoln Laboratory, BBN, Signatron, and TASC. At present, she is at Boston University, Boston, MA, doing research in numerical analysis and partial differential equations using fast Fourier techniques.
