J. Matthew Tattersall (M'84) received the B.S.I.E. degree in 1981 and the M.S.O.E. degree in 1985, both from the University of Rhode Island.

He joined the Naval Underwater Systems Center (NUSC) in 1983. He is presently an Electronics Engineer in the Environmental Acoustics Branch at NUSC. His research has been in the areas of environmental acoustic and the application of signal processing to environmental acoustic measurements.

Mr. Tattersall is a member of the Acoustical Society of America.
