Claire D. Serdula received the B.Eng. degree in honors mechanical engineering from McGill University, Montreal, PQ, Canada, in 1994 and the M.A.Sc. degree in environmental fluid dynamics (mechanical/environmental engineering) from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 1997.
She is currently employed as a Project Engineer with the Air Quality and Risk Assessment group at Conor Pacific Environmental Technologies, Inc., Calgary, AB, Canada. Her duties include performing state-of-the-art dispersion modeling and risk assessments for energy industry facilities such as sour gas wells, pipelines, and gas plants as well as for other hazardous chemical storage facilities. She is also involved in many community organizations for environmental protection and wilderness preservation.
