Christoph P. Ritz (M'85) received the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics in 1982 from the University of Fribourg, Fribourg, Switzerland.In 1983 he joined the Electronics Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin with a fellowship from Switzerland, and, since 1984, he has also been associated with the Fusion Research Center at U.T. Austin. His research interests involve the development of nonlinear digital signal processing techniques and their application to different physical problems.
