Craig P. Sayers (S'93-M'95) was born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1966. He received the Bachelors and Masters degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadephia.

During 1995-1997, he was a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA, where he worked on operator control of remote subsea robots and visualization of scientific datasets. He is currently working as a Design Engineer for Silicon Graphics, Inc., Mountain View, CA.
