Stanley P. Hayes is an oceanographer in the Deep-Sea Physics Group at Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University in 1971. Current research interests include equatorial dynamics, finestructure, and internal waves.
