K. Rajgopal (S'84-M'84) was born in Vizianagaram, India, on May 9, 1953. He received the B.E. degree in electronics and communication from Nagpur University in 1974 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 1975.He served as Scientific Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science from 1977 to 1983, as Scientific Officer from 1983 to 1985, and as Lecturer from 1985 to the present. His current interests are in the areas of digital signal processing, computer aided tomography, sonar signal processing, and active and digital filters.
