Donald J. Woods was born in Shawinigan Falls, PQ, Canada, on October 30, 1957. After graduating from St. Lawrence College, Kingston, ON, in electronic engineering technology, he joined the Division of Physics of the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa, ON. As a Technical Officer in the Thermometry and Electrical Standards section, his interests involve the development and characterization of instrumentation for physical measurements.
