Jae Chul Chung (S'83-M'89) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1972 and 1974, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from KAIST, Seoul, in 1990, under the guidance of Prof. Z. Bien.Since July 1974 he has been a Research Engineer in the Fire Control System Development Group at the Agency for Defense Development, Seoul, Korea. His current research interests include adaptive control theory, and the filtering and estimation theory of nonlinear control systems.
