Nobuyuki Yoshizawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, on March 6, 1954. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1977 and 1979, respectively.He joined the Ibaraki Electrical Communication Laboratory, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, Ibaraki, Japan, where he has been engaged in research on submarine optical-fiber cable Structure design and jacketed optical-fiber structure design.
Mr. Yoshizawa is a member of the Institute of Electronics and Communication Engineers of Japan.
