Chuck Henry received three degrees in naval architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, and the D.Sc degree in mechanical engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ.

He is a principle engineer at the Electric Boat Division, General Dynamics Corporation, Groton, CT, working in maneuvering hydrodynamics and simulation. Previously, he was a project engineer at Davidson Laboratory, Stevens Institute of Technology, where he conducted experimental and analytical research projects in mairne vehicle hydrodynamics and dynamics.
