Robert C. Beardsley Dr. Beardsley attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received a B.S. in Nuclear Physics in 1964 and a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography in 1968. He has been with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since 1975. His current research interests include dynamics of shelf circulation, development of analytical and numerical models and current meter design, and analysis of instrument performance.
