Matthew D. Berkemeier received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 1987 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1990 and 1993, respectively.
Since 1993, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at Boston University, Boston, MA. His research interests include mobile robot locomotion and the control of underactuated robots.
