Lee S. Miller (A'54-SM'69) received the B.S.E.E. degree from Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne, in 1952, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, SC, in 1967.Following his undergraduate work, he was employed in the aerospace industry in microwave, antenna, radar, and weapon system engineering areas. From 1968 to 1972, he was a Senior Scientist with the Research Triangle Institute, Research Triangle Park, NC. Since 1972 he has been President of Applied Science Associates, Inc., Apex, NC, and has been active in several radar satellite programs, including Skylab, GEOS III, Seasat, and Geosat.
