Xavier Démoulin received the Magistere of matter sciences from ENSL, Lyon, France, and the D.E.A. degree in physical methods in remote sensing, Paris, France, in 1990.
After receiving his degree, he was employed as a Physicist for several companies. Since 1995, he has been working as an Engineer with the Service Hydrographique et Ocanographique de la Marine, Brest, France. His current work is focused on geoacoustics and shallow-water underwater acoustics.
