André Quinquis (M'95) was born in Brest, France, in 1961. He received the Ph.D. degree in electronics from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Brest, France, in 1989.
From 1989 to 1992, he was at the Ecole Navale doing research and teaching signal and image processing. Since 1992, he has been with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs des Etudes et des Techniques d'Armement (ENSIETA), Brest, where he has been jointly teaching and working in the areas of detection, adaptive signal processing, wavelets, and parameter estimation of underwater observations.
