Sheryl Grace received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics along with a minor in computer science from The University of Akron, Akron, OH, in 1989, the M.S. degree in applied mathematics from Oklahoma State, Stillwater, OK in 1991, and the M.S.A.E., and Ph.D. degrees in aerospace engineering from The University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN, in 1993 and 1995 respectively.
She is currently an Assistant Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at Boston University (BU), Boston, MA. Within the Department she serves as the chair of the aerospace program, faculty advisor for the BU student chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and graduate computational lab coordinator. Her main research areas are unsteady aerodynamics and aeroacoustics and her main research tools are analytical and computational methods.
Dr. Grace belongs to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for which she regularly organizes conference sessions, the American Society of Engineering Educators, the Acoustical Society of America, and AIAA for which she sits on the Northeast section council.
