Jeffrey M. Weiss (M'85) received the A.B. degree in physics from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, in 1966 and the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, in 1967 and 1972, respectively.
Presently he is Assistant Director of the Applied Electromagnetics and Optics Laboratory at SRI International, Menlo Park, CA. His current interests include wave propagation and theory, computational electromagnetics, signal processing, and remote sensing applications. Prior to joining SRI International in 1985, he was a Physicist at Argonne National Laboratory (1981-1985), pursuing primarily elementary particle physics, while also serving as a consultant to industry in computational electromagnetics. Previous positions include Visiting Scientist at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, from 1972 to 1974, and Research Associate at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center from 1976 to 1981.
