Chich Y. Peng received the Ph.D. degree in geophysical fluid dynamics from Florida State University, Tallahassee, in 1979.

He is currently a Senior Staff Scientist with Science Systems and Applications, Inc. His current field of interest includes motion analysis of satellite image sequences by applying wavelet transform techniques.
