Anatoly L. Fabrikant received the M.S. degree in physics from the State University of Gorky, Russia, in 1973, and the Ph.D. degree in nonlinear dynamics from the Institute of Applied Physics, Russian Academy of Science, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, in 1991.
He worked for 20 years in the Institute of Applied Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences. He then worked at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA, and then became a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Meteorology, Pennsylvania State University, University Park. He is now with Therma-Wave, Inc., Fremont, CA. His research interests are in fluid dynamics, oceanography, wave theory, acoustics, nonlinear dynamics, and remote sensing.
Dr. Fabrikant is a member of the Acoustical Society of America and the American Geophysical Union.
