Robert D. Stoll is a Professor of Civil Engineering at Columbia University, New York City where he has taught geotechnical engineering for 40 years. He is also a member of he Senior Staff at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, performing research in the area of sediment acoustics. Dr. Stoll is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America.
