Paul Patrick is a research biologist in the Environmental Sciences Department of Ontario Hydro's Research Division. He has been involved in the research and development of remote sensing systems to collect, interpret and transmit environmental data. This has included development of non-consumptive strategies to sample the environment such as sophisticatcd sonar systems. He has been involved in projects using neural networks to identify fish from their sonar echoes and to monitor birds from their calls.Dr. Patrick is a member of the American Fisheries Society and the Acoustical Society of America.
