Martin M. Abromavage

Martin M. Abromavage was born in Pittston, PA, on October 18, 1930. He received the B.S.E.E. degree from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, in 1958, and has since completed specialized coursework in design standards for electrical safety and federal environmental law.

He joined IIT Research Institute in 1962 and specializes in planning and analysis of electromagnetic effects of communications systems. He has been involved with the development of the Navy's ELF Communications System since 1968. He also participated in the Solar Power Satellite concept development and evaluation program conducted by the U.S. Department of Energy and NASA during 1978-1981.
