Guy V. Norton received the B.S. degree in oceanography from Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA, in 1976, the M.S. degree in physics from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA, in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, in 1990.
He is presently a Research Physicist for the Acoustics Division of the Naval Research Laboratory, Stennis Space Center, MS. His research interests include using acoustics to probe time-dependent/evolving shallow ocean environments in order to understand the interdependence of the different physical phenomena.
Dr. Norton is a member of the Acoustical Society of America.
