John N. Atanga received the B.Sc. degree in mathematics from the University of Wales, Cardiff, U.K., in 1987, and the M.Sc. degree in numerical analysis and computing and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Manchester, U.K., in 1989 and 1992, respectively.
Since 1993, he has been employed by the University of Sheffield, U.K., working as a Research Associate in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. His work is on the development of inversion techniques for HF radar wave measurements.
