Hiroshi Ishidera was born in Japan on May 17, 1947. He received the Bachelor degree and the Master of Aeronautics degree from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1971 and 1973, respectively.Since 1973, he has been with Mitsui Ocean Development and Engineering Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, and has been involved in the development of ROV's and the analysis of mooring systems.
