David Hurther received the M.E. degree in electrical engineering and M.S. degree in fluid mechanics from the Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg, France, in 1995.
He is currently a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland. His research interests are in boundary layer physics, suspended sediment dynamics, and acoustic Doppler instrumentation.
