Louise J. Ledgard received the B.Sc. degree in applied physics from Liverpool Polytechnic U.K. in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from Liverpool University in 1993.
Since 1994 she has been employed by University of Sheffield, U.K. working as a Research Associate in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Her work is primarily a feasibility study to assess the use of the OSCR HF radar system for the measurement of ocean parameters.
