Eric W. Gill received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's, NF, Canada. in 1977 and M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Memorial University in 1990 on the subject of ocean parameter extraction from HF backscatter received by a broad beam array.In 1977, he was employed at the Cabot Institute of Applied Arts and Technology. St. John's as a Lecturer in Physics. His association with C-CORE began as a graduate student in 1988. This affiliation continues, and at present he is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electromagnetic signal interaction with the ocean.
