Dennis B. Trizna (M'74) received the B.S. degree in physics from Illinois Benedictine College, Lisle, in 1963, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Iowa State University, Ames, in 1966 and 1970.

He has been with the Radar Division of the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC, since 1970, working in the areas of HF radar, radar signal processing, and more recently, microwave scattering. His current interests are in microwave radar scatter from the sea at low grazing angles and from clear air turbulence in the atmostphere, and the application of these techniques to air-sea interaction studies.

Dr. Trizna is a member of the American Physical Society, AGU, URSI, and Sigma Xi.
