Preston S. Wilson was born in Gary, IN, on July 11, 1968. He received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 1990, and the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 1994 from The University of Texas at Austin.He co-oped for Rockwell Space Operations Company, Houston, TX, during the last three years of his undergraduate education and joined Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin (ARL:UT) as a graduate student in 1991, where he is currently employed as a Research Engineering Associate. His primary research interests have been sesimo-acoustics and the development of experimental apparatus for seismo-acoustics.
Mr. Wilson is a Registered Engineer-in-Training in the State of Texas, and a member of The Acoustical Society of America.
