Kenneth B. Theriault (S'67-M'68-S'73-M'77) was born in Roxbury, MA, on August 9, 1946. He received the B.S., M.S., and E.Eng. degrees, all in electrical engineering, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, in 1968, 1975, and 1975, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in oceanographic engineering, jointly awarded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA, in 1977.From 1968 to 1969 he worked as a Staff Engineer at the C. S. Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, MA. From 1969 to 1972 he served as an Officer in the United States Navy. Since 1977 he has been a Senior Scientist at Bolt Beranek and Newman, Inc., Cambridge, MA, working in the field of sonar signal processing and parameter estimation.
Dr. Theriault is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Eta Kappa Nu, and Sigma Xi.
