Captain James P. Cummings is Swath Operations Specialists at Navatek Ships, Ltd. He has an extensive background with various high tech craft including nuclear submarines, jetfoils, submersibles, and SWATH vessels. Captain Cummings commanded three prototype SWATH vessels (SSP Kaimalino, Suave Lino(Betsy) and the Navatek I). He is now assisting in the design and outfitting of a new SWATH vessel for the America's Cup '92 Race Series.
