Kenneth E. Morey received the B.E.T. (with high honors) from Northeastern University in 1984. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959. He worked in the Department of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1966 to 1984, where he served as project engineer for several oceanographic research projects. In 1989 he joined the Ocean Process Analysis Laboratory at the University of New Hampshire as a project engineer. He is currently working with the Space Science Center at UNH as a project coordinator. His research interests include computer systems for oceanographic data acquisition and analysis, microprocessor applications for oceanographic instruments, sensors and systems, low-cost image processing systems for near real-time data analysis for use aboard ship and remote locations, and digital signal processing and display.
