Tadao Kusaba was born in Fukuoka, in 1938. He received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Saga University in 1966.Between 1966 and 1971 he was a Research Associate at the Department of Aeronautics, Kyushu University, Japan. He is now a Research Associate at the Research Institute for Applied Mechanics, Kyushu University. He is interested in statistical properties of ocean waves.
