R. S. Raghavan (S'81-M'84) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1984.In 1981 he was at the NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia and worked in the area of microwave remote sensing of the oceans. In 1984 he joined the Center for Electromagnetics Research and the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. His research interests are in the areas of remote sensing, radar systems, and signal processing.
