Gary H. Brooke was born in Kamloops, BC, Canada, in 1950. He received the B.A.Sc. degree in and the Ph.D. degree from the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 1972 and 1977, respectively.
He worked as a Defence Scientist for the Department of National Defence at the Defence Research Establishment Pacific, Victoria, BC, from 1977 through 1994. Since then, he has been employed as a Senior Scientist by Integrated Performance Decisions, Inc., Middletown, RI.
Dr. Brooke is a member of the Acoustical Society of America.
