Franz S. Hover received the B.S.M.E. degree from Ohio Northern University in 1987. He proceeded to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute Joint Program in Oceanic Engineering, where he received the M.S. degree in 1989 and Sc.D. degree in 1993.He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. His research interests include dynamics of ocean systems and nonlinear control system design.
