Douglas A. Estrich received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, in 1976. In 1983 he received the M.S. degree in ocean engineering from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston.He was Project Engineer for Hydroacoustics, Inc., in Rochester, NY, where he developed several low-frequency underwater acoustic transducers. He is presently employed as Applications Engineer for Data Precision at Analogic Corp. where he is working in the areas of signal processing and data acquisition.
