Michael Sfakiotakis received the degree in electrical engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thesseloniki, Greece, in 1995 and the M.Sc. degree in communications control and DSP from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, U.K., in 1996. He is currently a research associate at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K., working towards the Ph.D. degree.
His main research interests are in biomimetic underwater propulsion, adaptive signal processing, and fuzzy logic control.
