John L. Mitchell was born in Roanoke, VA, on September 2, 1944. He received the Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, in 1968.He has been employed at PRC Kentron, Inc., as a Scientific Programmer since 1972. Until 1982, his primary responsibility was the development of software for the reduction and analysis of microwave ocean scattering data. He is currently providing computer programming support for the development of large-scale deployable antennas for space applications and for a microwave reflectometer ionization sensor.
