David H. Kil received the B.S. degrees (summa cum laude) in electrical engineering and chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana in 1985, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering at Polytechnic University of New York, Brooklyn, in 1988.
Since 1995, he has been a Program Specialist at Lockheed Martin--AZ, Litchfield Park. His interests include image/video processing, data mixing, acoustic signal processing, rapid prototyping, and pattern recognition, and he has published a number of papers in those areas. He and F. Shin developed the Integrated Pattern Recognition Toolbox that automates classification algorithm design.
Mr. Kil is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu. He received the Lockheed Sanders Technical Achievement Award in 1994 and the Loral Paper/Patent Award in 1996.
