H. C. So was born in Hong Kong in 1968. He received the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering from City Polytechnic of Hong Kong in 1990. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include statistical and adaptive signal processing, in particular, time delay estimation in multipath environments, and related mathematics.
