Melora M. Park received the B.S. in physics from the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon in 1982.She was employed as a research assistant in the College of Oceanography at Oregon State University from 1982 to 1987, where she first became involved with the development and implementation of data acquisition systems for upper ocean measurements. In 1987, she joined the technical staff at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where she currently is a Research Associate in the Upper Ocean Processes group.
