Albert J. Plueddemann received the B.S. degree in interdisciplinary, engineering and the B.S. in oceanography from the University of Michigan in 1980. He received the M.S. and Ph.D from the University of California, San Diego in 198l and 1987, respectively.He was a postdoctoral investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from 1987 to 1988 and presently holds an Assistant Scientist position there. Dr. Plueddemann's research interests include air-sea interaction and mixed layer dynamics, internal waves, ocean acoustics, and oceanographic instrumentation.
