Bjarne Stage (M'88) was born in Faaborg, Denmark, on March 12, 1957. He received the M.Sc. degree from the University of Aalborg, Denmark, in 1983 and the Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, in 1990.
From 1983 to 1987 and again from 1990 to 1992, he was a Research Engineer at Brüel & Kjaer, Naerum, Denmark. From 1992 to 1996, he was a Scientist at the NATO SACLANT Undersea Research Centre, La Spezia, Italy. Since 1996, he has been a Scientist at the Danish Defence Research Establishment, Copenhagen, Denmark.
