David L. Thomas is a Senior Research Engineer and has been continuously involved in the design of high-performance mechanical equipment at Battelle for 33 years. Recently he has been active as the principal design engineer responsible for the development of hydraulic systems for underwater applications, including power supplies, manipulators, tools, and work systems.
